Rules of the Wiki

This wiki is a shared resource to which any registered user can contribute. Because of its nature there are some ground rules that must be observed:

• This is a restricted wiki in that only registered users may contribute. In addition, Access Control may be used to make parts of the Wiki read-only, or inaccessible to other users. Please respect any restrictions that are imposed on your use of this wiki: in particular any attempt to circumvent these rules of access or acceptable use will result in withdrawal of your privileges and may result in disciplinary action.
• Do not delete or change text that others have written unless you can improve it. Minor corrections for spelling and grammar are welcome and do not need explanation. However, if you feel that a page is in need of significant edits for sense, accuracy, etc., you should first engage in dialogue with the author(s) on the discussion pages before making major changes.
• Please provide a few words of summary to explain major changes or new pages before submitting your edits.
• This is a public wiki hosted in the College of Engineering at Swansea University. As such, though it does not necessarily represent the views of the University or of its officers, it is subject to the same codes of conduct as the University itself.
• All material posted on this site is considered Copyright of Swansea University unless otherwise stated. Materials may be assigned other copyright notices (e.g. Creative Commons) provided that these do not override the University's own rights. Copyright materials from other sources, whether in abstract or complete form, may not be added to this site, unless their copyright expressly allows such reuse. The usual rules of “fair use” and “plagarism”¹⁾ apply.
• Any material that in any way violates these rules will be removed without explanation, and the posting of such materials may result in the withdrawal of access rights.
